Do you like J.R.R. Tolkien?

The Silmarillion
with its legends of Gods of very ancient ages, the First and Second Age, and
the Gods end in the Third Age – and then the Lord of the Rings…
The wondrous trilogy which filled the cinemas and describes the Fourth Age
of a world which only existed in Tolkien’s fantasy and yet touches and
enchantes us. Curious creatures dwelled on Tolkien’s continent “Middle
Earth”, Fairies and Wizzards, Elves and Dragons and Deathless –
a world full of mysteries and mysticism.
The city
Esgaroth on the Long Lake which was threatened by the Dragon Smaug and where
humen dwell, not far from the Halls of the King of Elves at Mirkwood, could
be perfectly seen as the homeland of the live beings who will be the theme
of these following pages.
Of elfish appearance, puckish nature, unbelievable intelligent, curious, open-minded
and always in the mood for new, well thought pranks, with a glance penetrating
the person of interest like Anduril, the sword of Aragorn:
The Sphynx
So, welcome in the country of Esgaroth on the Long Lake. We look across the Lake at Erebor, the Lonely Mountain and further to the East, to the Iron Mountains, where Dain the King of Dwarfes and his peoples dwell. Just come in, we’ll welcome you!
